    Went to Iraq a few weeks ago & documented human rights abuses & evidence that government forces are still using hunting rifles to target protesters. Over 600+ killed since Oct. Next challenge is coronavirus but these protesters are determined

    One of my reporters has had to make her Twitter profile private today because a *government minister* tweeted out screenshots of a completely standard request for comment on a story, and accused her of spreading disinformation. Absolutely extraordinary.

    Now, despite a new highly contagious strain, 2nd lockdown & record daily Covid-19 cases, some scared pregnant teachers say they are still being forced to work from schools as the orignal govt guidance hasn't been restored and the decision is at the discretion of the headteacher

    Govt guidance during the first national lockdown, at the peak of the pandemic, was that employees must carry out risk assessments for those 28+ weeks pregnant & that they should work from home where possible. As lockdown measures eased around the country this advice was archived.
