So since magic works differently in my 5e setting/mechanics rewrite I've had to rewrite much of the ranger class. Their spells are removed (dont worry EVERYBODY can use magic by equipping it) and have been replaced with various utility abilities:

bonuses than normal traps. Professions will be a fairly important thing so collecting furs and materials or even bounty hunting can be a major source of income. Those materials will also let you craft better equipment since +1 gear isn't magical in my setting, its higher quality.
