Amanpour took pains to erase the word Jews while speaking three times about Nazi attacks and genocide. At best, she exploited and trivialized the Holocaust to make her analogy. It's right to call out Trump's untruthful statements, personal insults & praise of dictators like Kim Jong-Un, Putin & Rouhani.
But it's wrong to do so by trivializing the Holocaust, or as @timkaine put it, to engage in a form of Holocaust denial by scrubbing reference to Jews.
