Thank God the American people saw through your treachery and voted for Donald Trump. Your support of an 11 year old girl would have been better served if you could have used this as a teaching moment regarding respect for the flag and for our country.

So to kneel during the Pledge is okay to you, Hillary? I’m definitely not surprised since you never really respected and cared for our soldiers who fight to protect our country. How sad is it that people like you are teaching children that kneeling during an anthem that is meant-

You will stand at attention and honor the anthem and our flag. Countless men and women have fought for our nation defending freedom and you will respect and honor the Fallen and our nation and the flag. There is no debate nor is there any discussion.

Forced patriotism is fascism. What makes it freedom is the ability to say no.

Our veterans did not fight and die for a flag, and those who protest aren't protesting the flag, the anthem, or the military. Or even football.

If you're really concerned about disrespecting the military, maybe ask the NFL to stop requiring the armed forces to pay *them* for patriotic demonstrations.

Really, a song and a piece of cloth are holding the nation together? What about a shared sense of values, like say, the idea that every person is created equal and has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Shouldn't those be the things that bind us?
