    Ever had class on top of the Eastern Continental Divide? There’s a first time for everything! Fun fact: the cliffs pictured behind us feature a set of high elevation caves that serve as nesting sites for peregrine falcons! 🦅CH

    Another week of doing scope work for the capstone project!!! It was difficult to identify each particle between plastic, fragment, and film with natural sediments. Can you identify plastics in those pics? V.P.

    It was the perfect night for migrating birds and luckily we caught a ~2 year old Saw-whet female probably migrating south from up north. We banded her and took some body measurements to assess health, age, and sex. What a beauty 🥺🥺 -Hannah

    When everyone else was zip lining, I went on and ATV your with George Powell, one of the owners of Highlands Aerial Park ! He told me all about the history of the land that the park is on. It was a beautiful tour! -EK
