Is there supposed to be a relationship b/t the two? As a casual observer, I’d probably think there was a correlation stronger than the one that appears in the chart you present. What’re you thinking?
This is interesting - although the SEC recovered record disgorgement funds in 2020, fines have been flat since the GFC. More wrongdoing = more illicit funds seized, but fines haven't risen in tandem.pic.twitter.com/8L79s2SnrF
