Wow! Thank you for posting. Jack was a dear friend of Vinnie’s and I had the privilege of having him on our board for a decade. A true legend and one of the most decent men I’ve ever had the honor of meeting. Rest In Peace Jack.
Jack Sandner was Chairman of the CME in the 1980s & 90s, helping bring the exchange into the electronic era.
He died last week at 79 after suffering a stroke.
60 Minutes interviewed him as part of a story on Hillary Clinton & the exchange as a whole (video below).
