        Agreed thanks @jgreco. I do wonder whether or not a pilot study similar to the Fee Rebate Pilot Study which is on hold due to litigation may be useful for assessing the value added by intermediaries versus forcing retail orders onto lit venues - https://osc.ca/sites/default/

        Pilots suck. Very few firms have the resources to do anything except the bare minimum to comply with the rules. The tick pilot was a total waste of industry resources that could have been used to deliver better execution quality rather than a crappy data set for a few academics.
