HnS, are you thinking about shorting this thing? I think this year is gonna be huge for them and then go downhill, fees are too hi and should get competed down. I'd buy FTT token (gets 1/3 of FTX revs plus trading discounts, priced $11bn fully diluted) before coinbase personally.
I'm pretty torn tbh. The valuation is wild but the potential range of outcomes is equally wild. I'm not buying on day 1 but if shares tank post-insider lockups I'll consider buying. The combo of vertical integration + parabolic BTC keep me interested.

Imagine the quarter they're gonna out up if we get completely ridiculous 2017-type bubble blowoff frenzy to >$100k. "Wtf Coinbase is worth more than Mastercard??" seems like it would be a decent sign of apocalypse. Let's hope.

I think that's completely possible & even likely. With the Q1 run up alone COIN has made more money YTD than they did all of last year.
