This is surprising - Hong Kong stock exchange volumes are now ~4x LSE's. It's a combination of: - Surging inflows from mainland China - Hong Kong becoming "Nasdaq of Asia" - Less strict listing rules for Chinese companies We can't overlook China's new rule over HK either...pic.twitter.com/bz2NdwOLFg

And no market maker program in the cash markets. Pretty wide spreads which makes the ATS venues appealing tho. Loads of flow moved to delta-one swaps to help get around tax when crossing in ATS.
