i think our friend arbitrage comes in long before 100% dark market share. (i assume we're talking about dark, as opposed to off-exchange; there are dark venues on exchanges, such as mid peg orders, and non-exchange lit venues, such as intelligentcross aspen.)
what's the upper bound? who's smart enough to know? i do think the market can absorb a lot of incremental uninformed order flow, and that's been the story in COVID times.
