When you are willing to lose money to gain business and your owners dominate HFT and retail flow, I would hope they do well. But, I still don’t buy the argument that they will have any impact on other exchanges’ trading date fees from here.
Agreed - not by natural market forces, anyway. Maybe they could form a big enough group to lobby the SEC, but traders still need feeds from every exchange to trade/follow the rules.
