NEWS: It's critical to filter out as much noise as possible when consuming news, and exchanges are no different. I use Finviz's Portfolio tool - create a free account and add stocks to your watchlist. All news from those stocks will show up in a clean, easy to read feed:pic.twitter.com/tcTgZghOY9

To summarize: 1) You'd be surprised how much info is in each exchange's 10-K. Read them. 2) Track volumes at least monthly. Exchanges trade on volumes. 3) Very few pieces of news will truly impact the stock. 4) Debate your ideas with others. You'll become a better investor.

I think what is particularly interesting these days is to see exchanges move towards more an info services biz model through growth in their data/services - both organic and M&A. Over time you would think the multiples would move up.

Also I am still amazed by the overall lack of understanding about exchange biz models. The vast majority have morphed far beyond trading. Yet the vast majority of PMs are more comfortable buying a bank than an exchange!! Just because it is easier to understand. I call that SCARY!

Yikes! I open up Twitter after a few hours and have 70+ notifications? That never happens. I feared I'd been mistaken for a QAnon or Antifa supporter or something. Thank goodness it was just market structure. Thanks for the plug
