Great episode - thanks for posting! My takeaway: -stocks will keep going up bc passive will control marginal purchase -negative rates in US will cause a lot of strategies to blow up -Jay Pow = astute button presser -if marginal buyer becomes a net seller, markets are toast
Hi @HideNotSlide could you tell me where can I learn about the concepts of margin buyers and net sellers? Still studying the basis to be able to understand a whole episode confortably, hopefully soon!
Marginal buyers & sellers = bc so much AUM is now passive, a smaller % of float is required to move a stock

. Right now stocks are going up bc passive inflows are still big, but if something causes passive to sell more than they buy, stocks will fall fast and hard
