      1st day of the quarter could be causing some general rebalancing, I think also with it being the end of the month analysts are incorporating completed Q2 trading volumes into their updated views pre-earnings. Other than that, not 100% sure

      They just completed the acquisition of EuroCCP and gave some more insight into plans for disrupting the EU derivatives market from prearranged block trading to an on-screen model similar to US Still a newbie here and learning.       This is true, and it is a positive as it shows progress on longer-term investments. They announced the deal late last year so I think this is mostly priced into the stock until they actually start building the exchange out and we see market adoption.

      Good question - I think initially nothing that would help EPS (years 1-2), but longer term they could take business from Euronext & Eurex (owned by Deutsche Boerse) if they truly do provide a differentiating product, which could be big (Eurex does ~1 B EUR per year in revenue)

          Thanks, would be nice to see some traction here. Revenue from prop products is more rewarded by the market. VIX/SPX volumes still have room to grow but the reliance on them is (too) high.
