In away yes, but how many waves of this virus are we going to go through?
If we get more virus volatility that may be a good thing for $CBOE volumes, but if traders are getting blown out of their positions, that's not healthy for the market long term.

I've heard of only one market maker blowing out. Pricing the volitlity is tough because you have to factor two or three total waves of the virus.
