    At that point in a transaction where I realised the buyer is scammer. The conversation so far has been weird to say the least, but my instinct there is to assume English not first language.

    Sympathy with both of you. I’ve struggled at conferences with this, and people usually look visibly hurt as a consequence. I also have three cousins, and know their names, but even after 48 years I couldn’t say which one was which.

    I have sympathy for Mads here. My brain is not wired well to remember names or faces and I think I my record is introducing myself to five times at various Pub Standards.

    The Dr Who annual was the hallmark of my Christmas growing up. I would get up early, take the wrapped up annual from my stocking and read it twice before everyone woke up. 🤓
