Is there any way to stop YouTube from recommending bs that has absolutely nothing to do with the content I watch?

Like what do Fortnite and makeup tutorials have to do with true crime and ARGs?
@TeamYouTube y’all really need to fix this. I’m getting tired of having to go through my recommendations and removing each nonsense video/stream one at a time. Give me things I’ll actually watch.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likesShow this thread -

Thanks for reaching out. Recommendations are influenced by various factors. You can remove recommended videos by selecting "Not interested" on your homepage. Also, here's more info on how to manage your recommendation: https://yt.be/help/gQEj . Hope this helps.

I’ve been doing that. It does not work. And videos/channels that I say I’m not interested in keep coming back. Suffice it to say, I’m not happy. At all.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Can you sign out and sign in of your account? As it does take some time to update your recommendation preferences. Let us know if it helps.

I did and it didn’t fix it. I’m pretty sure that it’s NOT an issue on my end.
