'discovered' oat milk for coffee about a year before we became vegan, preferred the flavour so much that we changed out cow milk there and then!

Thank fuck I'm not a dairy cow, eh? Forcibly impregnated, calves taken away, milked by machine, high chance of mastitis, lameness and hock injuries, then slaughter at 6-8 years of age.

Have you seen the concerns about almond production on pollinators in the US? My favourite is oat milk, but my partner prefers almond and has concerns about the above. I bought her some hazelnut milk to try today.

Yeah, almonds definitely appear problematic. Luckily we weren't drinking it anyway. We love oat, and recently I've got the odd bottle of Innocent Hazelnut when it's on offer. Yum!

I like soy milk too. Unfortunately, oats in any form play havoc with my digestive system. Do let me know what oat milk is like if you try it

Trouble is, with a highly subsidised dairy industry, all the alternatives are way too expensive for everyone to afford.

Subsidies defintely don't help, however the prices are coming down all the time and for many of us that can afford them, we can help by increasing economies of sale. Some supermarkets selling plant alternatives for 90p/litre
