Great to know! To my knowledge Gop wanted to instruct the Internal Revenue Service to use maximum discretion when enforcing legislation that prevents churches and other houses of worship from endorsing political candidates. The Johnson act seperates chirch and state.

I can live with the public school increased tax. I think we all agree teachers need to be paid better and our education needs a lot of work. I just how the extra resources have a positive effect. It's hard not to be cynical about that at this point.
That money isn’t for public schools it covers the deductible for private tuition
this is MY proposal - i propose that WE shut down the gov't. republicans did it twice when things weren't going their way. i propose a countrywide strike of ALL non-essential personnel until these bastards repeal this piece of garbage.
A general strike is very difficult to organize, but when they have been in the past they have been very powerful tools for change. If we want to see this happen we need a good plan, and a strike fund to keep strikers fed and housed if it's going to last more than a few days.
