There's only anecdotal data saying the rise in crime is connected to criminal justice reform. In fact, SF crime is down (according to cops). Correlation isn't causation. My belief is the trauma of the pandemic is more to blame than liberal D.A.s.

Boudin's office recently filed 15 charges against a suspect who was caught on video taken by ABC7 News reporter Lyanne Melendez at a Walgreens in SF. Boudin says last year, the Retail Theft Taskforce recovered $8 million of stolen goods in one operation involving several agencies
