Nier gestalt definitely was the better of the two when it came to characters and story. I don’t think any of the characters in automata are nearly as strong as someone like Kaine or Weiss

yeah, I respect ppl who like it for the atmosphere and overall themes, but individual characters really flopped for me. automata is something I appreciated from afar, but never felt invested in.
