    Love hearing 15 yr old son exit 11 yr old daughter's room casually asking if she'd like him to make her a snack, and them both ending the conversation with an easy, "Love you". (especially lockdown parenting) is hard a lot of the time, so moments like these are gold.

    Is crime publishing too hung up on the "amazing twist" at the expense of great writing and layered characterisations? What do we think? Never want to read another blurb with the words "[insert superlative] twist".
