Evictions don’t descriminate, but they do hurt some folks the most. Black folks, women, single moms, seniors, and people with disabilities suffer the most.

Today, I proudly introduced “Right to Counsel” legislation to ensure that renters facing eviction have a lawyer to represent them. It will help balance the scales between landlords and renters, and keep 1000s of Philadelphians in their homes.
