Strong disagree. If there is waning immunity, then boosters are needed. The answer is to increase production and improve getting the full vaccination series to all globally.

Yet the US has like a quarter of the active COVID cases in the world so it seems like a really inaccurate statement.

We're treating it more like donating to the food pantry, because we have enough to eat. Yet we all know we need to vaccinate the world. But we can't be expected to die ourselves, while doing it. We have to just do both. Fast.

It can’t be both. Other countries don’t have supply because we are hoarding it. Boosters are good to have, but it’s more important we get the world vaccinated first.

I’m assuming he doesn’t mean to include people who are seriously or moderately immune compromised? One can argue their life jackets have leaks

If I get a breakthrough infection, I would survive but could kill or give my month old grand daughter or immunocompromised husband lifelong health issues. I'll take the booster shot.
-
You could get 10 shots of the current vaccines and still shed small amount of virion to infect someone who is vulnerable!!! That’s just not how immunology works! VE increases when more people around you are vaxxed

Except that we own a life jacket factory and can make as many as we need in the medium term.
