    The virus responsible for the new #Ebola in Guinea is Ebola Zaire, @drmichelyao1 reveals during today's @WHO presser. This is good news. The only available Ebola vaccine protects against Zaire ebolavirus. Were it one of the other Ebola strains, the Merck vaccine would not work.

        Have the provided any further information on the outbreak in #DRC? Do they yet know if patient zero was in fact infected by her husband or if her virus was related to the 2018 N Kivu outbreak?
