A bill set to be introduced in the coming days or weeks would define what constitutes an assault weapon and the penalties for procuring or possessing one

While politicians “strategize” to move on local firearm regulations, our kids still are subjected to active shooter drills. If children need to be taught to pee in a bucket, the least we can do is require our ADULTS to take a mandatory firearm education course. #gunsafety #coleg

We waited 3 months for ammunition during Covid. We can wait 10 days and require gun safety and mental health training. If our kindergartners are sudden “experts” in hiding from a gunman, our education can include mental health information.2/3

As an elected official and a military family whose husband served in Afghanistan, you can actually thank him & many others for your actual freedoms. Then, perhaps you could be brave enough to get an education & serve in the military. You are no one’s hero.
