If you see a certain type of free speech case get highlighted all the time & other cases ignored, it's hard not to think that the principle is being used for goals other than the promotion of free speech.

I think that's an argument for regarding amorphous fascist violence as scarier (because harder to control & hold accountable). Therefore more worthy of press coverage. VICE does a good job covering, other Canadian media less so.
