Has Moon succeeded, though? Trump still to be at least considering abandoning South Korea in exchange for concessions from the North. The last rumours I saw were that Trump might consider (partial) withdrawal of US forces in exchange for NK giving up its ICBMs.

@realDonaldTrump likes autocrats. He would like to become one and is well his way. If the Democrats don’t win control of at least one of the houses, preferably both, then there may be no stopping him.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Notable that Macron, with the firmest grip on power, has the most room with which to work. His flattery has at least helped secure continued US military presence in Africa.

not so sure how firm that grip ishttp://www.businessinsider.com/emmanuel-macron-poll-approval-rating-trump-2017-8 …

Yeah, he can do the Chinpokomon Executive Trick and Trump is dumb enough to fall for it.

I think it's an incorrect analysis of Macron. Macron's main goal is to portray himself as the alternative to Trump throughout Europe.
-
Yeah and the one that has really failed in their flattery is Abe. Trump still view Japan as "80's Japan"
