3. As it happens, Glenn Loury & Charles Murray have an interesting and salient history. They were colleagues together at American Enterprise Institute in early 1990s.
4. But after publication of Bell Curve & D'Souza's terrible "End of Racism" (also sponsored by AEI), Loury (and another black conservative, Robert Woodson) decided they could no longer work at AEI.

6. So Loury, who Harris thinks is "fantastic" and (unlike Klein) a reasonable voice, thought that Murray's was so terrible that he couldn't in good conscience work with him.

He said he hated Murray's social policy ideas? That's surprising because he seemed to be not only agreeing with Murray, but in some cases advancing his views.
How are there still black “intellectual” conservatives in 2018? I agree w/R’s on some issues, but since there is a general tolerance in their movement for considering someone who looks like me to be sub-human, that’s gonna trump whatever I think about tax policy/deficits.
What do you agree with Republicans on when it comes to tax policy and deficits?
