I saw a viral video once (can't find it) in which someone interviewed quite a few abortion protestors and asked them what the penalty for abortion should be if it's murder. Almost without exception, they said the woman shouldn't do any jail time. That she'd been through enough.

A situation where all abortions are banned without major changes to the current economic system would result in a hellish nightmare IMHO. Even with a child centred economy and society there'd still be unintended cruelty to some people that'll be intolerable to most.
