Question is, do the Dems realize this or do they just go back to not doing any work thinking they just have it wrapped up for good again

Do we wake up every day forgetting just how strange it was? No Voting Rights Act, disinformation campaign by hostile power, massive use of crosscheck and other tactics to remove people from voting roles, low turn out pendulum swings after 8 years of one party, third parties etc.

Agreed. 2016 the final reactionary gasp of the old America. It will be remembered as an outlier. Cosmopolitan, multiracial and younger Americans will be ascendent agan & now know price of staying home. Still, concern is that deck is stacked by 2 decades of GOP gerrymandering...

And a president in office, and a party in control, who will do whatever they can to hold on to power. They will try to openly sabotage the elections, or after the Dems win, they will say it's invalid.
