Well, her claim is that Williamson's opinions *aren't* shared by pluralities/majorities of Americans but that they are marginal. To test that we'd need to look @ polling. On abortion, the absolute pro-life position is held by about 18%. I bet % supporting death is much smaller.

There's a weird unreality to the whole Williamson debate b/c the most outrageous position is one he took in a single deleted tweet and sort of disowned. Things wd be much more "interesting" if he actually said in the present, "Yes, every woman who's murdered her baby shd die."

And if he did *that*, even I, with my very centrist liberal/pluralist convictions, would be quite comfortable saying he has no business writing for a mainstream publication. Because that's a loony/very extreme position that needs to defense in our public life.

Given their rhetoric, there is no other consistent pro-life position other than treating women who have abortions and their doctors as murderers. Authorities must also charge all those who knew about the woman's intent to have an abortion as accessories to murder.
