Noted. But his comment (that you're engaged in social media vigilantism) is particularly strange coming from someone who writes for a reputable magazine. I mean, isn't reporting people's words and analyzing them a large part of what Jeet does everyday?

So, Jeet, if I happen to think that what a prof is doing is egregious, you propose I do what, exactly? Quoting their own words and providing critical commentary helps the alt-right, according to you. Is silence your recommendation?

If the prof does something egregious the journalistically ethical thing is to critique their public views or class room actions. Also, to interview them & opponents. Not to rile up internet mob, as Kay wanted to do.
