Here's the thing: they are functioning under the delusion access to him is somehow newsworthy/interesting. It's not. It's bathing in his bullshit.

It would be far more helpful to interview one level down from him, and those who are supposed to be keeping him in check in congress. Get *them* on record. If nothing else, it will at least be coherent.
