5. Would add that Russia isn't only area where USA is sending mixed signals. Also true of Korea. This is the likeliest path to war.

this is ridic. "This contradictory policy could send mixed signals, leading to war." The alleged contradiction wouldn't lead to war. US aggression would.

Right -- and mixed signals is compatible with blaming aggression. If you send both aggressive & non-aggressive signals, that's destabilizing.
