Kinda surprised nobody's mentioned the word "corporatism" yet. Fascism was anti-capitalist because free markets were considered to be an International Finance™ scam, while contracts (like the rule of law) mean you can deal with humans beyond the level of tribal friends or foes.

The fascist "cure" or "third way" between market liberalism and socialism was corporatism, intended to keep prominent capitalists on-side, ensure cartelized profits (and greater Party-State control), quash labor agitation, & create something like an ethnocentric welfare state.
