popular fronts are uh, alliances between political groups along the same (left) spectrum. conservatives are the opposite of that, they're the enemy of progress, NeverTrump or MAGA.

Not only would it never work, it would be tactically stupid to align w/ the right. The left went over this recently w/ the equivalent of third positionists who claim to be progressives.
