The interesting period of Fantastic Four starts in 1965 when the group grapples with cultural heterogeneity (Inhumans, Black Panther).

The Inhumans (cultural separatists) & Black Panther (proud African nationalist) become quasi-allies but they cannot be assimilated into group.

Post 1965, Fantastic Four becomes much more fractured a group with on-again-off-again coalitions. Just as New Deal coalition fracturing.
