It is a fantastic film. But Welles was in it for a total of about 10 minutes. Seven of which he spent running around wordlessly in a sewer

I love The Third Man but that's a Carol Reed film, not a Welles.

True, but I always see it as part of the cluster of films that Welles & Cotton both worked on (including Journey into Fear)

And Graham Greene. Massively preferable to Citizen Kane which I rank after Third Man and Touch of Evil - performance wise at least.
