Idea that Dems should sweep districts they lost by 20%+ a half year ago is sheer voluntarism. That districts are competitive is remarkable.

Montana did not demonstrate failure of populist message, any more than Georgia a "moderate" message. Over-interpretation is out of control.

Certainly not every message is of same power & resonance, but insight won't be found in proof points from by-elections in ex. Rep districts.

Agree uniformity of swing encouraging. My point is that victory is likely to take place in purple districts rather than deep red ones.
