I'd argue that the act of actually electing Trump is proof we're no longer that nation. An "indispensable nation" wouldn't make that move
I think I'm most worried about the collateral damage as they go down. The US has a tendency to use international chaos as a distraction from
domestic problems, and you'd need to sow a lot of discord to cover this up. Also: they take what they want.
