Aside from the most hardened pacifists, everyone accepts political violence in some form. The only question is where the line is drawn.

As a general rule, I disagree with moral absolutes. There are cases where use of violence is justified, such as ending genocide.

But a prohibition on violence is much closer to defensible than any other moral absolute, & should be the default position.

There needs to be a very compelling reason for the use of violence. In a democracy, even a flawed one, I see no case for it.
