Again, I might agree if Bannon had't been given prominent position in Trump campaign. That changes dynamic.

Perhaps worth noting. Bannon had prominent role in GOP pre-Trump. CPAC, etc. I spoke to him at 2012 convention.

And you can attack Bannon's record w/o building up the alt-right. Hell, I've already gotten campaign spam that does that.
