2. Unlike evangelicals, Catholic church acknowledges many gays & lesbians are born that way. Didn't "choose lifestyle" & "can't be cured."

@DouthatNYT "it's better to marry than to burn with lust" -- yes. But that's changed with a more positive affirmation of marriage.
