@JeffSharlet Peer review (at least in my field) isn't really about fact checking--for that, you'd have to send reviewers to the archives.
@prof_gabriele @JeffSharlet @jacremes Exactly. Academics don't necessarily have "facts" on hand but can help in thinking about argument.
