      2. John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich (1718-1792), is perhaps best rememberd for inventing the sandwich. But he had a tragic love life.

      12. Sympathy for Hackman was early instance of trying to apply psychology to crime. But like I said, misapplied. Guy was a creep.
