@HeerJeet Though I think you find in Hitchens very early on a crude notion of historical progress. He later tweaked it for atheist purposes. -
@LukewSavage You can see that in Hitchens's use of Marx to justify the Raj. In fact, Marx saw both achievements & horrors of Raj.
