In broad outline, what anti-war expected in 2003 was quick conquest followed by long guerrilla war & possible civil war. Not far wrong.
@CK_MacLeod Sure, but again predicated on silly belief that alternative policy (invasion & occupation) wouldn't also stir anti-Americanism.
