@HeerJeet I think Updike was a better short story writer than novelist. And his best short stories were written before Couples (1968). -

@HeerJeet The best of large-scale Updike ( a/k/a novelist Updike) scenes are the Moon landing in Redux and the JFK assassination in Couples. -
